About Candice Nesrallah

A Journey Around the World

After high school, I embarked on a four-year journey around the world, immersing myself in different cultures and pursuing various experiences. For two years, I worked as an English teacher in China, while also venturing to Thailand and Indonesia. Following that, my path led me to France, Malaysia, and eventually Australia, where I spent another two years bartending, serving at restaurants, and embracing the adventure of life abroad.

Unexpected Career Path in Massage Therapy

Upon returning, I had initially intended to enroll in art school in Toronto, having left Ottawa behind. However, fate had other plans, and I found myself guided towards a different path—enrolling at Sutherland Chan Massage Therapy College. It was in 2005 that my career adventure truly began, and by 2007, I proudly graduated as a licensed Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).

Wanderlust and Holistic Learning

Before fully settling down into a full-time job, the wanderlust within me resurfaced, beckoning me to explore once more. Packed with anticipation, I embarked on a journey to Thailand, Cambodia, Tanzania, Tunisia, and India, spending roughly another year and a half immersing myself in these vibrant destinations. This time, I made it a priority to expand my knowledge by taking courses and delving into alternative health practices.

Career Growth and Educational Pursuits

Following this enriching travel experience, I ventured into a three-year career as an RMT in Vancouver, relishing in the vibrant west coast lifestyle. I worked in various multidisciplinary clinics throughout the city, honing my skills and expanding my professional horizons. During this time frame, I pursued further education and professional development, including courses in acupuncture and osteopathy.

Current Focus and Philosophy

Currently, my focus lies on publishing my thesis, which delves into the profound concept of life force energy within osteopathy. The goal is to create a book that speaks to the profession but also to anyone interested in learning more about subtle energy. Overall, my journey has been one of continuous exploration, acquiring knowledge from diverse cultures and healing traditions. I carry this wealth of experience and understanding into every session, aiming to provide holistic care that nurtures the innate healing potential within everyone. It is a privilege to be able to assist people in their remedial process, and I always feel like those who find me are meant to.
